Comment: Set 3: From Dime NEW YEAR'S EVE 1967 - 1968 final jam set with members of Jefferson Airplane, Big Brother and The Holding Company and Quicksilver Messenger Service. I got this recording from David Cooks (early tape archivist for John Cipollina), who attended the show and noted the following details during the performance. It's easy to hear the guitars and lead vocalists as listed, but the background vocals are not as easy to differentiate. So don't expect Janis or Grace to be very obvious in the mix. The jams are fairly tight despite being rather extended.

Lineup: Paul Kantner (vocals, guitars)
Marty Balin (vocals)
Jack Casady (bass)
Jorma Kaukonen (guitars, vocals)
Spencer Dryden (percussion)
Grace Slick (vocals)

Other Artist(s): BIG BROTHER; QUICKSILVER AND FREEDOM HIGHWAY
