Masontown, WV - June 25, 2008 - The 12th
Annual All Good Festival announces the
performance schedule for the July 11-13
weekend, offering over 40 hours of
continuous live music atop of Marvin's
Mountaintop, just outside of Masontown, WV.
While many other festivals generate the hard
decisions of what act to see and what act to
have to miss, attendees at the All Good
Festival are able to witness each and every
scheduled artist with no overlapping sets
all taking place on two stages within one
centrally located concert area. This year's
complete schedule can be found online at
www.AllGoodFestival.com and below.
To reduce the
environmental impact of the 2008 All Good
Music Festival, the event organizers have
partnered with the Clean Air Conservancy
(CAC), the first non-profit in the United
States to use the market for
government-issued air pollution permits as a
way to make lasting environmental
improvements. In partnership with Rock the
Earth, CAC works to identify the major
sources of harmful carbon dioxide (CO2)
emissions and estimate the 'carbon
footprint' of the 3-day event. This 'carbon
footprint' includes CO2 emission estimates
for the diesel fuel used for trucks
delivering equipment and on-site electric
generators, the gasoline used for festival
support vehicles, and the propane used for
cooking. The organizers of the All Good
Music Festival are committed promoting sound
environmental practices and being able to
quantify the event's 'carbon footprint' will
help future events reduce harmful greenhouse
gas emissions. In total, the All Good
Music Festival will permanently retire
carbon credits equivalent to more than 130
metric tons of CO2 emissions, equivalent to
the emission resulting from the burning of
almost 16,000 gallons of gasoline or more
than 50 tons of coal.

Music Festival has added performances from

beefing up an already hefty list of artists
for the event held at a picturesque,
mountaintop location.

Filling
over 40 hours of live music throughout the
weekend, attendees are able to witness each
and every artist at the All Good Music
Festival with no overlapping sets taking
place in one centrally located concert

Continuing
its tradition of philanthropy and community
support, the All Good Festival is partnering
with and benefiting a handful of
non-profits: Conscious Alliance's annual
food drive where food donations contributed
by festival patrons directly benefit the
Morgantown food pantry and each donation of
10 canned food items receives a
complimentary poster; HeadCount's voter
registration drive where $.50 per ticket is
contributed to their nationwide
Get-Out-the-Vote efforts via the 'Cents for
Sense' campaign; and the Rex Foundation,
created in 1983 by the Grateful Dead to
support individuality in the arts, a healthy
environment, and other social services. The
Bridge will host a 'Rex Jam' of a mixture of
All Good Festival artists on Saturday
afternoon as a fundraising effort for a
local arts and music program.
As the mid-Atlantic's
largest live music and camping event, the
All Good Festival has grown to attract over
18,000 fans from across the nation. Aside
from the musical performances, one of the
festival's main attractions is the serene
rural West Virginian setting and the natural
grandeur of Marvin's Mountaintop.

11-13 at Marvin’s Mountaintop in Masontown,
WV, featuring an extended weekend of music
and camping amongst the scenic West Virginia

Festival continues to present fans with a

With over 40 hours of live music scheduled throughout the
weekend, fans can enjoy each and every live
performance scheduled at the festival with
no overlapping sets in the All Good
Festival’s centrally located concert area.
One can literally choose a spot for the
weekend and see every artist they have paid
to see. Patrons simply turn 45 degrees to
the right to see the artists perform on the
side stage and turn back to view the main
stage acts - the fans love it.
As the mid-Atlantic’s
longest-running live music and camping
event, the All Good Festival has grown to
attract over 15,000 fans from across the
nation. Despite its record high attendances,
Billboard describes All Good as
“unlike many large festivals” with its
serene rural West Virginian setting
complimented by the natural grandeur of
Marvin’s Mountaintop.
Far from being “rustic”
however, the All Good Festival is a
full-blown extravaganza with top quality
