Comment: New Year’s Eve opening for the New Riders of the Purple Sage
(1) with Johnny Markowski (NRPS)double drums Mookie played keyboards for the entire NRPS show. Dave played drums for their entire second set. At midnight, the entire DJ&tT and NRPS played together on Auld Lang Syne, Rockin’ With Nona and Garden of Eden> The Last Time> Garden of Eden (reprise). Jeff also played guitar on Truck Drivin’ Man, Peggy-o, Higher and Deep Elem Blues. Donna Jean also sang on Peggy-o and Higher and Tom also played on Deep Elem Blues. After the show, back at the hotel, The Zen Tricksters with special guest Donna Jean played an acoustic set that consisted of: Friend of the Devil, Midnight Moonlight, Candyman, Cassidy
