Comment: Though a cold night in the Old Dominion, it was a hot water pipe that burst over stage right, dowsing the horn section mics and flooding the stage. The horn players and Dave Gould (bassie) grabbed equiptment and evacuated while the rest of the band slowly figured out what was happening. They were unable to return and the show ended with Isle Of Springs (the irony) falling apart. This same tune suffered through a power outage at the show in Fredericksburg, VA the night before.
