An Excellent If Slightly Abbreviated Show In The Rain Today. Van Was Playing His Third Gig In As Many Days, Was In Exceptionally Strong Voice, And Demonstrated His Chops On saxophone, Harp, Guitar And Piano. Again, He Started On Piano, With Northern Muse, And Stayed For The Beginning Of Beg Before Closing The Song On saxophone. An Extended Fair Play Was Next, Followed By The Mystery. We Also Heard St. James Infirmary, A Very Strong Help Me, Moondance, Healing Has Begun, Hityl, Talk Is Cheap, Keep It Simple. School Of Hard Knocks, And Ballerina For A Fantastic Closer. Considering The Venue, It Was An Outstanding Show. - Steven L
